Password Reset Not Working
If you are having trouble resetting your password, follow the steps below to identify and resolve the issue.
Password reset problems are usually related to:
- Reset email not arriving
- Using an expired reset link
- Entering an unsupported password
- Temporary browser or network issues
Step 1: Check for the Reset Email
Section titled “Step 1: Check for the Reset Email”After requesting a password reset:
- Check your email inbox.
- Check your Spam or Junk folder.
- Search your mailbox for Hischool.
- Wait a few minutes in case the email is delayed.
If the email still does not appear, request a new password reset.
Step 2: Confirm the Correct Email Address
Section titled “Step 2: Confirm the Correct Email Address”If you do not receive the reset email:
- Make sure you entered the correct email address.
- Check for spelling mistakes.
- Ensure you are using the email linked to your Hischool account.
If you have multiple email addresses, try the one you used during account registration.
Step 3: Request a New Reset Link
Section titled “Step 3: Request a New Reset Link”Password reset links are usually valid for a limited time.
The link may stop working if:
- Too much time has passed
- A new reset request was created
If the link does not work:
- Go back to the password reset page.
- Request a new reset email.
- Use the latest link sent to your inbox.
Step 4: Choose a Valid Password
Section titled “Step 4: Choose a Valid Password”If the system does not accept your new password:
Make sure your password:
- Meets the minimum length requirement
- Is different from your previous password
- Is not too simple or predictable
For better security, use a strong and unique password.
Step 5: Check Browser or Device Issues
Section titled “Step 5: Check Browser or Device Issues”Sometimes technical issues can interrupt the reset process.
Try the following:
- Refresh the page
- Clear your browser cache
- Use a different browser
- Disable browser extensions temporarily
- Try resetting your password from another device
Security Reminder
Section titled “Security Reminder”To keep your account safe:
- Never share password reset links.
- Reset links should only be used by the account owner.
- Avoid using the same password across multiple services.
- Hischool support will never ask for your password.
When to Contact Support
Section titled “When to Contact Support”Contact support if:
- Password reset emails never arrive after several attempts
- The reset page consistently fails
- You are unable to complete the reset process
- You believe your account may be compromised
