Send Emoji
Emoji help you express tone, emotion, and quick feedback in conversations.
You can use emoji in:
- Direct messages
- Group conversations
- Saved Notes
Emoji make communication more expressive and engaging.
How to Insert Emoji in a Message
Section titled “How to Insert Emoji in a Message”You can insert emoji directly while typing a message.
To add an emoji:
- Open a conversation.
- Click the message input field.
- Type ”:” (colon).
- Start typing the emoji name.
- Select an emoji from the suggestion list.
Example:
- Typing
:smile - Typing
:thumb - Typing
:fire
A list of matching emoji will appear.
Select one to insert it into your message.
You can combine text and emoji in the same message.
Example:
- “Great job :tada:”
- “I’ll review this later 👍”
After finishing your message, press Send.
Using Emoji in Messages
Section titled “Using Emoji in Messages”Emoji can appear:
- At the end of a message
- Inside a sentence
- As a standalone message
Examples:
- “Great work! 🎉”
- “Looks good 👍”
- “😂”
Reacting to Messages with Emoji
Section titled “Reacting to Messages with Emoji”You can also react to an existing message using emoji.
To react to a message:
- Hover over or open a message.
- Click the reaction emoji button.
- Choose an emoji.
The reaction will appear attached to the message.
Emoji reactions are useful for:
- Quick feedback
- Acknowledging messages
- Expressing agreement or emotion
