Page Not Loading
If a page in Hischool does not load, shows a blank screen, or displays an error message, the issue is usually related to network connectivity, browser configuration, session issues, or temporary system conditions.
Follow the steps below to diagnose and resolve the issue.
Step 1: Check Your Internet Connection
Section titled “Step 1: Check Your Internet Connection”First confirm that your internet connection is working properly.
Try:
- Opening another website
- Restarting your router
- Switching to a different network
- Disabling and re-enabling Wi-Fi
If no websites load, the issue is likely related to your network.
Step 2: Refresh the Page
Section titled “Step 2: Refresh the Page”Temporary loading failures can often be resolved by refreshing the page.
Try:
- Refreshing the page
- Performing a hard refresh (Ctrl + Shift + R or equivalent)
- Closing and reopening your browser
Step 3: Confirm the URL Is Correct
Section titled “Step 3: Confirm the URL Is Correct”Make sure:
- The URL is typed correctly
- You are not using an outdated or expired link
- The page has not been deleted or archived
If you opened the page from a bookmark, try navigating from the Home page instead.
Step 4: Clear Browser Cache
Section titled “Step 4: Clear Browser Cache”Corrupted or outdated cached data may prevent pages from loading correctly.
Clear your browser’s:
- Cache
- Cookies (if necessary)
- Local storage (if applicable)
Then sign in again and try loading the page.
Step 5: Disable Browser Extensions
Section titled “Step 5: Disable Browser Extensions”Certain browser extensions may block required resources.
Examples include:
- Ad blockers
- Privacy tools
- Script blockers
Try:
- Opening Hischool in a private/incognito window
- Temporarily disabling extensions
- Testing the page in another browser
Step 6: Check VPN or Firewall Restrictions
Section titled “Step 6: Check VPN or Firewall Restrictions”If you are using:
- A VPN
- A corporate firewall
- A network proxy
- A school-managed internet network
Access to certain services may be restricted.
Try:
- Temporarily disabling VPN
- Switching to another network
- Contacting your IT administrator
Step 7: Verify Your Account Session
Section titled “Step 7: Verify Your Account Session”If your login session has expired:
- The page may fail to load
- You may see a blank screen
- You may encounter a redirect loop
Sign out and sign back in to refresh your session.
Step 8: Check for Temporary System Issues
Section titled “Step 8: Check for Temporary System Issues”If multiple users cannot access Hischool:
- The platform may be under temporary load
- Maintenance may be in progress
- A short delay may resolve the issue
Wait a few minutes and try again.
Common Error Scenarios

- JavaScript blocked by extensions
- Corrupted browser cache
- Browser compatibility issues
Clear cache and disable extensions to test.
“This Site Cannot Be Reached”

- DNS resolution issues
- Network restrictions
- Firewall blocking
Try switching networks or checking DNS settings.
Infinite Loading Spinner
Section titled “Infinite Loading Spinner”Possible causes:
- Network latency
- Expired session
- Temporary server delay
Refresh the page or sign in again.
When to Contact a School Administrator
Section titled “When to Contact a School Administrator”Contact your administrator if:
- The issue appears limited to one school
- Specific pages within a school fail to load
- School configuration may be affecting access
When to Contact Platform Support
Section titled “When to Contact Platform Support”Contact support if:
- The page fails to load across multiple devices
- Multiple users report the same issue
- Repeated server errors appear
- Access consistently fails
