Invite Link Not Working
If a school invite link does not work, the issue is usually related to link validity, account session, or temporary technical problems.
Follow the steps below to identify and resolve the issue.
Step 1: Make Sure You Are Signed In
Section titled “Step 1: Make Sure You Are Signed In”Invite links require an active Hischool session.
Before opening the invite link:
- Confirm you are signed in to your account
- Make sure you are using the correct account
- Avoid switching accounts during the process
If unsure:
- Sign out
- Sign back in
- Open the invite link again
Step 2: Check If the Link Has Expired
Section titled “Step 2: Check If the Link Has Expired”Invite links may become invalid if:
- The invite has expired
- The invite was revoked
- The invite has already been used or disabled
You may see messages such as:
- “Invite link expired”
- “Invalid invite”
- “This invite is no longer valid”
If this happens, request a new invite link from the school administrator.
Step 3: Make Sure the Link Was Copied Correctly
Section titled “Step 3: Make Sure the Link Was Copied Correctly”If the invite link was shared manually:
- Make sure the entire link was copied
- Check that no characters are missing
- Ensure there are no extra spaces
- Avoid broken links across multiple lines
If possible, open the original invite link again.
Step 4: Confirm You Are Using the Correct Account
Section titled “Step 4: Confirm You Are Using the Correct Account”Invite links may fail if:
- You opened the link using a different account
- You switched accounts during the process
- Your session expired
Try the following:
- Sign out
- Sign back in with the correct account
- Open the invite link again
Step 5: Check If You Are Already a Member
Section titled “Step 5: Check If You Are Already a Member”If you are already a member of the school:
- The invite link may not work again
- The system may redirect you instead of joining again

Step 6: Check for Technical Issues

Try the following:
- Refresh the page
- Clear your browser cache
- Try a different browser
- Disable browser extensions
- Check your internet connection
Temporary technical issues may prevent invite processing.
Common Error Scenarios

Section titled ““Invite Not Found””The invite link may have been revoked or deleted.
Request a new invite link.
“Invite Link Expired”

Ask the school administrator for a new invite.
The Page Loads but Nothing Happens

- Session expired
- Account mismatch
- Browser issues
Try signing out and signing back in.
When to Contact the School Administrator
Section titled “When to Contact the School Administrator”Contact the school administrator if:
- The invite link expired
- You need a new invite link
- You cannot access the school after accepting the invite
Administrators manage invite links and school membership.
When to Contact Platform Support
Section titled “When to Contact Platform Support”Contact platform support if:
- Invite links fail for multiple users
- The invite system appears broken
- The link appears valid but does not work
- You encounter unexpected system errors
