Pending Friend Requests

The Pending Requests section shows friend requests sent to you by other users.

From here, you can:

  • Review incoming requests
  • Accept a request
  • Decline a request
  • Block a user (if necessary)

Managing pending requests helps you control who can connect with you.

To view incoming requests:

  1. Go to Friends.
  2. Open the Pending Requests tab.
  3. Review the list of users who have requested to connect.

Each request may display:

  • User name
  • Profile photo
  • Shared schools (if applicable)

To accept a request:

  1. Click Accept next to the user’s name.

After accepting:

  • The user is added to your Friends list.
  • You can message each other directly.
  • Profile visibility may expand depending on privacy settings.

To decline a request:

  1. Click Decline.

After declining:

  • The connection is not created.
  • The user may be able to send another request later (depending on system rules).

If you do not want further contact:

  1. Open the request options.
  2. Select Block.

When you block a user:

  • They cannot send you friend requests.
  • They cannot message you.
  • They will not appear in your Friends list.
  • Visibility in search may be restricted depending on system rules.

Before accepting a request:

  • Verify the user’s identity.
  • Check shared schools.
  • Be cautious with unknown accounts.

If a request appears suspicious, you may report the user.
