Pending Friend Requests
The Pending Requests section shows friend requests sent to you by other users.
From here, you can:
- Review incoming requests
- Accept a request
- Decline a request
- Block a user (if necessary)
Managing pending requests helps you control who can connect with you.
Viewing Pending Requests
Section titled “Viewing Pending Requests”To view incoming requests:
- Go to Friends.
- Open the Pending Requests tab.
- Review the list of users who have requested to connect.
Each request may display:
- User name
- Profile photo
- Shared schools (if applicable)
Accepting a Request
Section titled “Accepting a Request”To accept a request:
- Click Accept next to the user’s name.
After accepting:
- The user is added to your Friends list.
- You can message each other directly.
- Profile visibility may expand depending on privacy settings.
Declining a Request
Section titled “Declining a Request”To decline a request:
- Click Decline.
After declining:
- The connection is not created.
- The user may be able to send another request later (depending on system rules).
Blocking a User
Section titled “Blocking a User”If you do not want further contact:
- Open the request options.
- Select Block.
When you block a user:
- They cannot send you friend requests.
- They cannot message you.
- They will not appear in your Friends list.
- Visibility in search may be restricted depending on system rules.

Safety Considerations
Section titled “Safety Considerations”Before accepting a request:
- Verify the user’s identity.
- Check shared schools.
- Be cautious with unknown accounts.
If a request appears suspicious, you may report the user.

Common Issues
Section titled “Common Issues”I accidentally declined a request
Section titled “I accidentally declined a request”The user may need to send a new request.
I cannot accept a request
Section titled “I cannot accept a request”- The user may have withdrawn it.
- The request may no longer be valid.
- Privacy restrictions may apply.
The request disappeared
Section titled “The request disappeared”Requests may be removed if:
- The sender cancels it.
- You decline it.
- The account is deleted or suspended.
Best Practices
Section titled “Best Practices”- Review requests regularly.
- Accept requests only from trusted users.
- Use blocking tools when necessary.
- Keep your connections professional and relevant.
