Search and Filter Friends
The Friends section allows you to search and organize your connections efficiently.
From the /friends page, you can:
- Search for your friends
- Filter different request states
- View blocked users
- Manage incoming and outgoing requests
Searching for Friends
Section titled “Searching for Friends”To search for your friends:
- Go to Friends from the main navigation.
- Use the Search Friends input field at the top of the page.
- Enter a name or partial name.
Search results update automatically as you type.
The search only includes:
- Your existing friends
- Pending friend requests (incoming)
- Outgoing friend requests
- Blocked users
It does not search the entire platform.
Available Filters
Section titled “Available Filters”You can filter results using the following tabs:
- All
- Online
- Pending Requests
- Outgoing Requests
- Blocked Users
Filter Definitions
Section titled “Filter Definitions”All
Displays all your current friends.
Online
Shows friends who are currently online.
Pending Requests
Shows incoming friend requests waiting for your response.
Outgoing Requests
Shows requests you have sent that are awaiting approval.
Blocked Users
Shows users you have blocked.
These filters help you quickly manage different relationship states.
Adding a New Friend
Section titled “Adding a New Friend”If you want to add someone new:
- Click the Add Friend button.
- Search for the user.
- Send a friend request.
The Friends page itself only manages existing relationships and requests.
Visibility Rules
Section titled “Visibility Rules”The Friends section only displays:
- Your current friends
- Incoming requests
- Outgoing requests
- Blocked users
It does not display all users on the platform.

Best Practices
Section titled “Best Practices”- Use filters to quickly manage large friend lists.
- Review pending requests regularly.
- Monitor blocked users.
- Use Online filter for active conversations.
Common Issues
Section titled “Common Issues”I cannot find a user
Section titled “I cannot find a user”The Friends page only searches within your existing relationships.
To find new users, use:
Search results are incomplete
Section titled “Search results are incomplete”Search is limited to your friends, requests, and blocked users.
My list is too long
Section titled “My list is too long”Use the Online filter or search by name to narrow results.
