Change Username
You can change your username from the Settings menu in the My Account section.
Your username is a unique identifier across the entire platform, so it must follow specific formatting rules and cannot duplicate another user’s username.
How to Change Your Username
Section titled “How to Change Your Username”To change your username:
- Go to Settings.
- Open My Account.
- Click the Username button.
- A Change Username modal window will appear.
- Enter your new username.
- Enter your current password.
- Click Update.
If the username meets the platform requirements and is not already taken, your username will be updated.
Username Requirements
Section titled “Username Requirements”Your username must follow the platform’s username policy:
- Must be unique across the platform
- Must use lowercase characters
- May include:
- Latin letters (
a–z) - Numbers (
0–9) - Underscore (
_) - Hyphen (
-) - Dot (
.)
- Latin letters (
Usernames that do not follow these rules will not be accepted.
Important Notes
Section titled “Important Notes”Your username represents your identity across the platform and helps keep accounts uniquely identifiable.
Because of this, you should choose your username carefully before changing it.
Security Confirmation
Section titled “Security Confirmation”Changing your username is a sensitive action.
The system requires you to enter your current password before the change can be completed.
This helps prevent unauthorized account modifications.
