Profile Issues
If your profile information is not updating correctly or certain profile sections are missing, this guide will help you troubleshoot common issues.
Profile-related issues usually involve:
- Profile information not updating
- Avatar or cover image not changing
- Badges not appearing
- Profile bio not saving
- Missing profile tabs
- School-specific profile differences
Quick Checklist
Section titled “Quick Checklist”Before exploring detailed guides, try the following:
- Refresh the page
- Sign out and sign back in
- Clear your browser cache
- Confirm you are using the correct account
- Check your internet connection
- Make sure you are viewing the correct school context
Many profile display issues are caused by caching or context mismatch.
Common Profile Issues

- Display name

Missing Profile Tabs

- You are viewing your own profile
- There are no shared connections
- You are not part of the same school
- The section has no available content

School-Specific Profile Differences

For example:
- Your display name may appear differently inside a school
- Your role badge may change
- Your school-specific avatar may differ
This is expected behavior when profiles are context-aware.

Visibility and Access Context

When to Contact a School Administrator

- You cannot update school-level profile details
